The HXGN15-12 type unit-type AC metal-enclosed loop network switchgea

Summary

The HXGN15-12 type unit-type AC metal-enclosed loop network switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the loop network cabinet) is a new generation of high-voltage electrical products that we have independently designed and developed, based on advanced foreign technologies and tailored to the needs of rural power and urban grid renovations in China. All technical performance indicators comply with IEC 62271-200:2003 and GB3906 standards.

The main switch, operating mechanism, and components of the ring main unit are either original ABB products or SFL-12/24 type switchgear assembled in China using imported parts. Alternatively, ABB's original HAD/US type SF6 circuit breaker or VD4-S vacuum circuit breaker can be installed according to customer requirements. The operation modes include both manual and electric types.

The cabinet is riveted after machining by CNC machine tool, and the protection level reaches IP3X, with reliable mechanical interlock and anti-misoperation function. This product has the characteristics of small volume, light weight, beautiful appearance, simple operation, long life, high parameters, no pollution, less maintenance and other significant features.

HXGN15-12 type unit AC metal closed loop network switchgear is suitable for 50Hz, 12KV power networks as a receiver and distribution of electric energy. The main switch in the cabinet is SF6 switch

 Interlock

The switchgear is equipped with the following interlocks:

1. When the load switch is in the closed position, the grounding switch operation is locked;

2. When the earthing switch is in the closed position, the load switch operation is locked;

3. The front door of the loop network cabinet is allowed to be opened only when the grounding switch is closed, and is locked in other cases.

Operate

For load switchgear, the dedicated operating handle is used to operate the equipment from the front. The front of the operating mechanism features two operation holes: the upper one for the earthing switch and the lower one for the load switch. When operating, rotating the handle clockwise closes the switch, while counterclockwise opens it. An electric closing and opening device can also be installed for remote control. (Note: Sometimes the load switch does not have an earthing switch, and the earthing switch operation hole is used to unlock the cabinet door.)

For the switchgear of combined electrical equipment, apart from the load switch being operated manually, the other operations follow the same sequence as described above. The lower grounding switch, located in the combined electrical cabinet, is linked to the upper grounding switch via a connecting rod, allowing them to operate simultaneously. During closing, the residual small current on the lower fuse holder is released, enhancing safety during fuse replacement.
